Applicant considers that he should be allowed to remain to assist his mother especially as his younger brother was ordered to join up on the understanding the applicant would remain to assist his mother. The appellant and his solicitor appeared before the local tribunal on 5 June 1917. The local tribunal found that no case was made out for the further exemption of a man of this age and medical classification. The mother can manage the public house with assistance as far as the waiting and heavy work is concerned.
