Summary of case: The local tribunal stated that this man is in s certified occupation viz ‘stallion man. ‘and the head authority has informed me in a case at Skelton that this does not only apply during the travelling season but the occupation exempts such a man during the whole year. His employer has four entire horses and only himself and this youth besides an old man, 65 years of age….to do the work of attending to these horses and travelling them. ‘The military representative appealed against the exemption stating: ’That it is not in the national interest that this man should be retained in his present employment.
