Summary of case: Appellant is a widow who lost her husband in April1916. The man in question has had to take his fathers place and work for and maintain his mother and three young children. Appellant has 10 acres of grass land and keeps generally two or three cows and four young stock. She supplies milk to the YMCA. The man in question does the work in connection with the land and the cattle and work in his spare time as estate labourer on Scotton estate.
