Military Service Act 1916 or Attested: Military Services Act

Summary of case: That it is inexpedient in the national interest that this man should be indefinitely retained in his present occupation. This man is 19 years and three months and has been passed for General Service, another man on this farm was put back for substitution but there appears to be a doubt as to his category as he has to go up again for special examination for eyesight. Also Mr Willies the Agricultural Representative states that this man is more suitable, I am therefore asking the Tribunal to make this man available for substitution, and to alter the other man’s exemption so as to leave him on the farm. I am therefore reviewing the other case, at the same time.
Supporting evidence: No
