Summary of case: Verity has already been granted three temporary exemptions, by the local tribunal, conditional on him staying in the same employment. He farms with his brother who is being called up on 15 May 1917. They have 350 ewes due to start lambing on 6 April 1917 as well as milk cows, pigs and poultry. An older sister keeps house and there is no other help. The Notice Paper is attached, indicating that he belonged to the Army Reserve. [See also NRCC/Cl 9/1/1898]
