Summary of case: Mrs Wood is a milk dealer and her son delivers over 350 gallons a week. He also assists with the milking. He was absolutely rejected by the Army in July 1916, but has now been passed B.1. There is a great shortage of milk retailers in the city of York. Mrs Wood suffers from valvular [sic] disease of the heart and the daughter is delicate. If he goes the business will have to close. [See also NRCC/CL 9/1/2420]
