Summary of case: The appellant respectively submits that his business is of national importance seeing that the whole of his time is spent buying and selling blood stock. He supports his wife in Sunderland with their children, his mother in Wallsend-on-Tyne and has an establishment in York where the lady with whom he is living with resides with young children. His brother died and he maintains and pays for the education of one of the 4 children. He is a member of the Volunteer Training Corps where he volunteers as much of the time that he is in York as his work takes him away from a great deal. [See also NRCC/CL 9/1/2038]
