The 8 men enlisted some time ago, two of whom have been killed. Mr Batters who is married with 4 children is the only man the firm have applied to the Tribunal for and would not have done so as he is so indispensable. The work he is chiefly engaged consists of carbonating the beer, handling butts and hogsheads. It has taken him 16 years to acquire his present knowledge.
