Summary of case: This man’s services are essential to the farmers in the district in repairing agricultural implements and general repairs on the farms. He is the only joiner and undertaker of the villages of Gillamoor, Fadmoor and surrounding district. His father is unable to work and the mother is entirely dependent on the son for their livelihood. The local tribunal granted exemption on condition that he gave up 3 days per week from his ordinary business to work on the farms. Local tribunal gave exemption on condition man remained in current occupation.
