Summary of case: Military representative states it is not in national interest that the man should remain in his current occupation. Previously Marshall had total exemption but after review this was changed to continual exemption provided he works for local farmers one and a half days a week. The local tribunal states that there is no other butcher in area, as the other had already been called up. It was considered that one butcher should be left in the area and could continue as he is. The military representative appealed against this decision
