Summary of Case: Wilson is the only assistant to Mr Dent in his hairdressing business. Mr Dent suffers chronic ill health and states that since his son has been called up there is no one else to continue his business if he is ill. Hence he could not support his wife and family. Local tribunal refused stating that a man ineligible for military service could replace the attested man. Military state that it is a small shop and the man could be easily spared.
