Summary of case: The military representative appealed 'On grounds that having passed for general service and order received from Headquarters Newcastle that this man appealed on domestic grounds whereas the appeal was decided on grounds of him being a corporation servant. That in my opinion he is not indispensable and his duties can be performed by a much older man'. The local tribunal stated ' Altho' the man made an appeal on personal grounds as stated the tribunal from their knowledge of local affairs considered that his services were such that he could not be replaced.'
