Summary of case: ‘I carry on in partnership with my father James Mason Alderson…..We make and sell edible fat or dripping for fried fish shops, pastry making and general cooking. Our fish shop customers in York supply 1250 suppers nightly on an average////We supply three leather works with grease, one of which specialises in driving belts, necessary for munitions works…..We deal with all the tubercular fat for the York Health Committee……We breed and feed 40-50 pigs per year for food….work is done entirely by myself and my father.
