Summary of case: Gansler's employer says he is employed removing the intestines from slaughtered animals, which must be done quickly after slaughter otherwise they spoil. It is specialised work and it is not the kind of work which any person would care to place on a woman. Gansler also has a wife and three children, one of which has bad health and nearly died.
