He has the full working management of the farm for his mother, his father being dead. He has 103 acres of tillage which needs ploughing and also 50 acres of grass land. The seed time is coming on and it is impossible for his to leave the farm. He is serving the national interests of the country far better where he is than if called up to join the army. He also had parish affairs as regards rate collecting to attend to and is also a Special Constable. He has applied for a pass to go to Richmond to be medically examined.
