Summary of Case: As well as his stated occupation he was working on his father's farm producing milk and other products, having replaced a farm hand who had joined up and he had become indispensable. At a previous appeal he received a conditional exemption based on his continuing to work on the farm. Decision 15 May 1916. The second application was 16 Nov 1916. It was adjourned for medical examination on 24 Nov and refused on 8 Dec. The military appealed against this decision.
