Summary of case: Appellant states he is in business with his brother and he has already been enlisted in the army. He states the turnover is £45 per week with a joint capital of £300. He has three allotments and 100 fowl. He went on to say that if he were to be enlisted the business would have to close and that his family are entirely dependent on the business which also supports his blind father, invalid mother and a sister who is a cripple. In addition he states he is suffering from a rupture and haemorrhoids. Local tribunal states that his health declaration is new to them and that his wife could well carry on the business.
