Summary of case: Appellant states that he is the sole support of his mother and home. He states that his business is at stake if he were to be called up. His medical passed him as C1 and he has been offered work on munitions which mean if he were to accept this work he would be able to keep his business running in the evening. Local tribunal comment that there are too many drapers in the town and ‘He now suggests munitions for which he is not fitted if it is hard work and in which he will be wasted for the Army if it is not.’
