Summary of case: Appellant states that he would like to be treated as the other butchers of the town have been dealt with. He states he is the only pig butcher in the town. Local tribunal states that there are in fact five butchers in the town and so they consider it more than enough. Local tribunal also state that other butchers in the town stock pork. Appellant states his mother and sisters are partly dependent on him but Local tribunal know that his mother has private means and his sisters have their own business. ‘I ask for a similar exemption as the other two Grangetown butchers received and if this is not granted at any rate time to enable me to make arrangements and to get over the Christmas trade.’
