Summary of case: The reason that my application was too late was that I was under the impression that I could apply for exemption at any time within seven days of receiving notice calling me up. I am informed that other appellants who were called up at the same time as I was, and have lodged their applications for exemption have had their applications considered. As I have a wife and two young children I think I am entitled to have my case heard.
