Summary of case: Albert was the third of three sons engaged in their father's bicycle sale and repair business, the elder two having already joined up. On 31 July 1916 the local tribunal had granted exemption to 1 Oct 1916. In second appeal to the local tribunal his father made a lengthy claim as to his indispensability to the business. They had also engaged Joseph B Clarke solicitor of 12 New St York, who wrote on 7 Nov to inform the County tribunal that Albert Fryatt had joined the Royal Flying Corps. [See also NRCC/CL 9/1/1273]
