Manby, Military Representative Summary of case: Wearmouth works with his father on a farm of 650 acres and it has been impossible to find other labour. He was granted conditional exemption by the local tribunal, provided he remained in his current employment. The military representative objected and felt that exemption should be limited to six months to allow his father to make alternative arrangements.
