Summary of case: “I am an invalid 64 years of age and unable to do farm work myself.” The farm is 236 acres of pasture and meadow, with 142 lambing ewes, 35-40 cattle and 2 horses. “My son being an experienced stockman is indispensable and I should be unable to manage my farm without him.” This local tribunal carefully considered the case, “when it appeared that stocksman and cowman was not his principal and usual occupation. Applicant has another son at home who has been granted exemption and size of farm does not justify more”. [See also NRCC/CL 9/1/134 and NRCC/CL 9/1/135]
