Summary of case: Occupying two farms, one and half miles apart. The first farm 120 with an open moor to the right. Stock consisting of seven head of cattle, one horse, 300 ewes, 100 hogs and 270 sheep, there is no shepherd on the common.
The second farm is 110 acres with 40 head of cattle, 50 sheep and four horses.
I am seventy four years of age, having four sons, one being an invalid, two sons working each of the farms. My fourth son Joshua is indispensable as he works on Soulgill Farm, [the larger farm.]
