Summary of case: For the past ten years I have owned and travelled with entire horses at present having only one as I have found it impossible to find a man to help me. ‘The Clydesdale stallion which I have at present has served 100 mares this season, and there are four entire horses less in the district than last year. My horse has been passed by the Board of Agriculture as for a government grant.’ I claim to be in a certified occupation with a wife and child to support. Also help with haymaking stabling my horse at the farm, the farmer has appealed to retain my services at hay time.
