Summary of case: (a) That it is not in the national interest that this man should remain in his present occupation but should be engaged in military service. (b) That his father could well look after his work as he has done when the man has been attending markets. (c) That a married man, who was exempted by the local tribunal so that this man could join the army could easily have been trained to do this man's work, but after exemption was dismissed by the man's father. (d) I understand that members of the local tribunal were canvassed both by the man and the father before the hearing of the case.
