Father appealed to North Riding Appeal Tribunal stating that it would be impossible to run the business alone as both fully employed and the bookkeeping is done solely by his son. He also reiterates that in addition to bagging, supplying and carting the coal up to 400 householders weekly he has 12 acres of land in cultivation and has cows, horses and pigs. If his son was taken he would suffer financial hardship.
