Summary of case: Appellant is joint tenant with his brother and as two farms with acreages of 180 and 129 acres. The common rights extend to over 3000 acres on Mickle Fell. William Banks is indispensable for the summer season unto 1 Oct 1916, for lambing, clipping, dipping and drafting for sale. Crops to harvest, some fields very difficult and can only use scythes. - Local tribunal feel that Arngill could be easily managed by the appellant and his brother, and another brother who is a gamekeeper could assist on the farm.
