Summary of case: William is described as the only regular man and sole caretaker. Appellant has two farms 267 acres, 90 of which are arable. 40 head of cattle and 180 sheep which he pays three hundred pounds a year rent for and describes the land as strong arable lands. The local tribunal state that there are four sons at home 17, 20, 26 and 28 years. On a farm of this size along with his two daughters, he is described as an able man and there is casual labour available locally. The local tribunal are of the opinion that this man can be spared and ought to go.
