Reciting inter alia that William Wood Watson, executor of George Watson, possesses 2 leases of monastery or mansion house called Old Malton Abbey and lands and premises formerly the possessions of dissolved monastery of Old Malton, which two leases each comprize a moiety of the property; one lease expired on ] April 1805 and the other expires on 7 April 1812 and William Wood Watson has failed in Chancery to get these leases renewed
Now it is agreed inter alia that Earl Fitzwilliam will be granted the lands in the expired lease for 21 years at a rent of £916 p.a. and subject to payment of £9 16s. 1 1/4d. p.a. land tax and the Master, brethren and sisters of the Hospital covenant that they will grant Earl Fitzwilliam the laeae of the residue of the lands [except those granted to Hugh Linwood] which will expire in 1812 for 21 years at a rent of £916 p.a. |
