With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 6 January 1852 of William Esteny for stealing one diaper napkin, four child's napkins, and one apron, the property of George Walton, on 3 December 1851. Esteny was sentenced hard labour at the House of Correction at Northallerton for three calendar months. Certificate dated 3 April 1854



With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions for the city of York held at York on 3 January 1853 of Joseph Carroll late of the city of York labourer for stealing one jacket and one waistcoat, the property of Robert Horner, at the parish of St Cuthbert in the city of York on 19 December 1852. Carroll was sentenced to hard labour at the York House of Correction for six calendar months. Certificate dated 3 April 1854
