- call roll, including a precept (dated 5 September 1849) to the sheriff to appear at the Quarter Sessions and to summon jurors and justices to the Sessions to be held at Northallerton on 16 October 1849. With names of those on Grand and Traverse Juries, and names of the sheriff, deputy sheriff, treasurer, coroners, high constables, bailiffs and keepers of the gaol at the castle of York and of the House of Correction at Northallerton [1 item]

- papers relating to exemption from jury service of John Shepherd, George Barron, John Wiley, Edgar Gilks and Benjamin Claxton [6 items]

- warrants to the bailiffs of Bulmer, Gilling East and West, and Langbaurgh West to summon jurors for the Grand Jury and Traverse Jury [3 items]

- names of substitutes attending court for bailiffs [2 items]
