Longley/Crossland (by the name of John Longley) and Horsfall/Walker (by the name of Thomas Walker) had both previously been convicted of felony at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 4 April 1843

Endorsed with names of witnesses and "a true bill found"


With certificate of conviction at the Quarter Sessions held at Northallerton on 4 April 1843 of John Longley labourer and Thomas Walker labourer late of the House of Correction at Northallerton for stealing two stirrup leathers, the property of John Hall, at the township of Rudston. They were sentenced to hard labour for four calendar months. Certificate dated 3 July 1844
