| Description | Petition signed by six owners and occupiers of lands in the township of Brompton on Swale. They are entitled to a carriage road over Overbridge Pasture belonging to Mr W. Arrowsmith, beginning at the north-west corner of Brompton Bridge. Following a flood in the previous July, the battlements were re-built, but were extended by Mr Atkinson [the Bridgemaster] into the road, which has made the road unsafe. The road should be made safe at public expense
