- notice dated 3 February 1806 from Thomas Pears clerk of the Benevolent Society at New Malton convening a general meeting of the Society to be held at the Shoulder of Mutton Inn at New Malton on 7 April 1806

- motion paper for the confirmation of the amended rules of the Benevolent Society at New Malton. An amendment of the rules made at a meeting on 26 December 1805 were not confirmed at the last Sessions as no provision had been made for expelled members who were balloted and impressed or who entered voluntarily into the king's service. At another meeting called on 7 April 1806 the alterations and amendments were approved, and an article added for balloted or impressed men to be repaid in full any money paid into the society and for volunteers to be repaid one half of the money paid
