From 19 July 1796 the highway has been in disrepair in the township of Danby from Lowey Howe being the boundary dividing the townships of Danby and Rosedale East Side to a water which runs across the highway called Ewe Gram Dyke, being 1,122 yards in length and 7 yards in breadth
