iv) indictment of David Jackson late of the township of Appleton Wiske yeoman for misdemeanour for compounding a penal action contrary to the form of the statute. Jackson had brought a writ of alias capias out of the court of King's Bench against William Banks. Banks was served with the writ at the township of West Rounton for an offence against the Game Laws, in using a gun and a setting dog to take game. Jackson claimed that Banks owed him money in penalties and costs, but he owed Banks for 20 bushels of oats which Banks had sold him. Endorsed "A true bill"

- undated draft order to convey David Jackson late of the township of Appleton Wiske yeoman, to Yarm to stand on the pillory for two hours. Jackson was indicted at the Sessions held by adjournment at Thirsk on 25 July 1793, and afterwards convicted at the Sessions held by adjournment at Richmond on 17 January 1794
