DescriptionBill of indictment of James Waite of the parish of Kirby Misperton yeoman for not repairing part of the highway from Kirby Moorside to New Malton

From 16 April 1792 the highway has been in disrepair in the parish of Kirby Misperton from the road usually repaired by Richard Surr to the road usually repaired by John Calvert, being 130 yards in length and 7 yards in breadth

Waite is liable for repairs because of his occupation of land adjoining the highway

Endorsed with name of witness and "a true bill"
