- Robert Lofthouse. Inquest held at Lodge Green on 6 April 1788. Verdict: sudden death by the visitation of God

- a male child. Inquest held at Easingwold on 8 April 1788. Verdict: sudden death by the visitation of God

- Ann Jordan. Inquest held at Brafferton on 23 April 1788. Verdict: drowned by accident

- Stephen Holmes. Inquest held at Leake on 1 May 1788. Verdict: sudden death by the visitation of God

- Catherine Robinson. Inquest held at Easby on 4 May 1788, with three adjournments. Verdict: manslaughter by John Stevenson

- James I'Anson. Inquest held at Hambleton House on 8 May 1788. Verdict: accident by a fall

- George Brown. Inquest held at Bolton on 8 May 1788. Verdict: drowned by accident

- Matthew Chalder. Inquest held at Fremington on 11 June 1788. Verdict: inflammation in his bowels (on the road)

- George Tiplady. Inquest held at Thistle Hall on 30 June 1788. Verdict: insane, cut his throat

- Bartholomew Langstaff. Inquest held at Hackforth on 3 July 1788. Verdict: accidental scalding

- Thomas Chapman. Inquest held at West Scrafton on 5 July 1788. Verdict: shot by accident
