Description | Bill of indictment of Francis Constable of Wilton gentleman for obstructing a watercourse or rivulet called Darwent which flows across the highway which runs from Wykeham to Ganton in the East Riding, and from the highway to a close of meadow belonging to Constable at the parish of Brompton called Dowman, so causing the highway to flood in the parish of Wykeham
Constable is liable to scour the watercourse by reason of his tenure of the close called Dowman
