A number of his businesses have already been forced to close (such as his carpet and Lino business). A temporary exemption had already been granted for the appellant to get over the busy summer season. The local tribunal found that his work is not of national interest. The appellant suggested he might be sent to a munitions works, the local tribunal thought that if he is fit for military duty he should undertake it.
